Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser (Saturday, April 18th at Mighty Fine Burgers in Cedar Park) Click here for more information. Grammar School Visit to Zilker Botanical Garden (Friday, April 10th) Let's meet at Zilker Botanical Gardens for a morning of botany exploration! This is NOT a school-sponsored field trip, just a chance for Fortis families to meet up. Two meeting times would be preferred - 10:00 and 12:00 to make the crowds smaller. You do not need to RSVP for a time. It is encouraged that you stagger times and carpool if possible. Zilker Botanical Gardens was not able to secure tour guides, so this will be a self-guided tour, which reduces the cost. Admission to Zilker Botanical Garden is $2.00 per adult and $1.00 per child (ages 3 - 12) and senior (ages 62 and older). Please bring your payment (cash or check - payable to Zilker Botanical Garden) when you arrive. You will need to pay at the admission booth (at the parking lot entrance) when you arrive, BEFORE you begin your tour. Please be aware that all parents are responsible for their own children's safety and behavior, and are required to be with them at all times. Here is a pdf to download in the case you would like to have info handy for your children for the self-guided tour. http://www.zilkergarden.org/ed/selfguidedtour.pdf See you there! -Grammar School Teachers MAY: Piano Recital at Bachus Conservatory (Saturday, May 2nd) 12233 Ranch Road 620 North #305, Austin, TX 78750 *Bachus Conservatory has a strict no glitter policy.
